Today is July 30th and it’s time to release my final illustration for Draw A Dot Lanvin Open Call. Except of the final illustration I want to show you some photos of illustration process and to tell you a little about creation of this illustration. The task was to create an creative illustration based on the Lanvin F/W 2015 (menswear or womenswear or both).
Before the creation of this collection Alber Elbaz started thinking about roots, his own birthplace, Casablanca, and everything that Morocco is capable of evoking. “It’s a country of contradictions,” he said. “So it was an interesting place to start a collection.”
BEAUTIES UNDER THE NORTH AFRICAN SUN
I decided to illustrate Moroccan Beaty. In here you can see the process of creation of this illustration. When I think of Morocco I imagine camels, ethnic Moroccan houses and desert . And all this in yellow and orange colors.
